OUTPATIENT ADDICTIONS COUNSELING SERVICES
Typically, an Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for people who have already finished a Residential Program. There are, however, some cases where a patient can immediately go into an IOP program. We will have a thorough, detailed conversation with you so that you make the best possible choice. The Intensive Outpatient Program at Focus Point provides our clients with the structure and support they need in order to live a healthy, sober life. This can be a challenging and even scary time for many clients, but we show the same commitment regarding our IOP program that we do when clients receive treatment inside our facility.
MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT)
Medication-assisted treatment is the use of anti-craving medicine such as naltrexone (Vivitrol) and buprenorphine (Suboxone) — along with comprehensive therapy and support — to help address issues related to opioid dependence, including withdrawal, cravings and relapse prevention.
MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY
Focus Point contracts with experienced therapists to provide the most focused, caring, careful, dedicated, humane, encouraging, least restrictive, and consistent mental health care to individuals, families, children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults with persistent and chronic mental illness.
PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION PROGRAM (PRP)
Focus Point’s (PRP) is a rehabilitation treatment program for individuals in need of supportive help. Individuals are provided skills and support to embrace their mental wellness, to enhance the quality of their life, and to pursue personally valued roles in their living, learning, work and social environments. The purpose of the program is to promote recovery, resiliency, and empowerment of the individual so that they may function successfully and live as independently as possible in the community of their choice. We offer PRP services to children, adolescents, and adults in the following counties: Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester
SUPPORTIVE EMPLOYMENT
Focus Point’s Supported Employment specializes in independent placement and will identify desired employment, provide employment training, and assist in maintaining independent employment. Focus Point’s Supported Employment services include job development, job acquisition, job training, and job retention.
DUI/DWI EDUCATION
Focus Point is licensed by the state of Maryland to provide a DUI/DWI Alcohol Education Program. We offer various session options depending on your needs.
